Words to Live By

I will not fooled by negative ads, political maneuvering, manipulation of situations and facts or attempts to sway me by biased press or polsters. I will consider what a candidate says and what he or she has done so far (and yes, I will do my own research to find out what that is if I must) to determine whether he/she will be a good holder of the office and make decisions that will benefit the citizens he/she is elected to serve. I will hold candidates/politicians accountable to our state and federal constitutions and will vote to remove those who haven’t served well. I don’t care to which political party he/she belongs. I don’t care whether how much money he/she has made as long as it was made legally. I don’t care about a candidate’s race. I don’t care what is politically correct or popular in our culture. I am proud to be an American. I don’t take it or the rights I enjoy as a citizen of it for granted. I am an Independent. Look out. I am going to the polls on Tuesday. I will be heard. Join me.
